About Montgomery Early Learning Centers

For over 50 years, Montgomery Early Learning Centers (MELC) mission has been to develop, provide, and advocate for high quality early childhood education, school age programs and related services in support of all children. MELC programs offer a safe and nurturing environment, qualified staff, and age appropriate curriculum to encourage learning, development, and growth during the most important years of a child s life. Since our inception, our commitment to excellence is nationally recognized by multiple agencies including: NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), NAA (National Afterschool Association) and COA (Council on Accreditation). In addition, all of our early childhood and school age centers have achieved at least a STAR 3 rating (out of 4) in Pennsylvania s Keystone STARS program.
