While learning goals are expected to give a child reading, writing skills etc., the teachers approach in preschool should be to give the child overall perspective, social skills, identifying their true inner talent or interests. The Montessori method essentially divides the curriculum into five or more focused genres; math, language, science, practical life, and sensorial. MCC classrooms are equipped with a series of lessons, from each of the five genres, in varying complexity. Students, with one-on-one attention from MCC faculty, work through the various lessons of their interest, at their individual pace.
