About Lilah Rose Pet Services

My name is Shani Abernathy and I am the Owner of Lilah Rose, All Pets Pet Sitting Service, LLC & Bonded. Everyone who is in the pet industry say they have a passion for animals, and I am no exception. What sets me apart are my many years of experience in the pet industry. I started pet sitting for friends, co-workers, and neighbors when I served in the U.S. Navy in 1993. After being honorably discharged, I worked for Petco as a Companion Animal Specialist for 2 years. That sparked an interest in me to work in the pet health industry. I worked 4 1/2 years for Good Friends Veterinary Clinic, in East Lyme, CT, as a Veterinary Technician and gained a wealth of knowledge with on the job training. I moved to Toledo in 2006 and started working for Holly Farms Animal Care Center that following year as a Veterinary Assistant and Office Manager.
