We are one of the most distinguished Dance Classes in Suwanee, GA. We specialize in Indian classical dance Kathak and Bollywood Dance. We also offer Karaoke singing, Western Music Instruments and voice. We aim to preserve and promote Indian culture by training our students in classical Dance and Music; and inculcating strong morals and ethics at the same time. In our Dance Department we offer classes for North Indian style of Classical Dance - Kathak - one of the oldest among the eight classical dance forms of India. We follow the syllabus prescribed by 'Bharatiya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal, Pune' and award certificates to the students on the successful completion of the course. We also believe in keeping our students updated with the modern style of dancing and teach them film dances based on the classical as well as the Bollywood moves. In our Music Department, Geet- Rung has highly qualified and experienced teachers training the students in the musical instruments such as Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Drums, Tabla, Sitar and Violin. Same goes for the Vocal section where classes are offered for Hindustani Classical and Light Singing. Divya Srivastava, Founder and Director of Geet-Rung School of Dance and Music, is a gifted dancer, experienced Instructor and skilled Choreographer. Brittny is a graduate of Auburn University with her Bachelors in Psychology, Masters in Education, Kathak Visharad certification from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, and she is a member of the National Association of Schools of Dance. Brittny has been dancing since she was five in various forms of dance such as hip hop, ballet, tap, and jazz.
