About Open Arms Christian Child Development

The Open Arms Christian Child Development Center is fully licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care, and is a member of the Open Arms Institute. We are fully accredited by the National Lutheran School Association. We are excited about the new curriculum that we have adopted at Open Arms. The Wee Learn Curriculum is a developmentally appropriate faith based curriculum that supports the various modalities through which children process information via play, exploration, creative expression and guided instruction. We will also use the State of Maryland Guidelines for Healthy Child Development and Care for Young Children as well as the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum to ensure that your child is receiving a quality, Christian education. Information about the Wee Learn Curriculum is provided for parents at the front desk.
