This course is great for employee training at companies, corporations, businesses or other entities. For employees and/or designated first responders who have a duty to respond to a first aid or CPR. Our Instructors Team is highly healthcare provider professional with National EMT Certified and Nurses with real life examples brought into the class room setting, along with assistance in job placement for students wanting to pursue a career in healthcare with the goal to introduce healthcare products to our students/professionals working in the medical arena and public environment. I have been a teacher for 30 years and have taught students between 5 to 17 years of age. I have experience in teaching Economics, Geography, Hindi, Sanskrit and Mathematics. I am planning to take Hindi lessons this summer but can help with other subjects if needed.

Pragathi Art Foundation provides in-depth training in Kalakshetra Style of Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam (Guru Kalyanikuttyamma Style). Here students are also trained in how to craft their own movement pieces, which enables the student to develop a unique and personalized experience of this traditional art form. Instruction in Indian Classical Dance-- Bharatanatyam (Kalakshetra Style) and Mohiniyattam (Guru Kalyanikuttiyamma Style). Pragathi Art Foundation is committed to quality dance training in Bharatanaytam with a focus on exploring movement as a unique thought system. Dr. Elizabeth Kurien heads the Pragathi Arts Foundation. She is a southern California based dance instructor, choreographer and scholar. She is an exponent of two forms of Indian classical dance, Bharatanatyam (Pandanallur Style) and Mohiniyattam (Kalyanikuttiamma Style). Kurien was trained from a very young age under the tutelage of Guru Shyamala Surendran, Dharani School of Performing Arts in Kerala, India. She obtained her Masters in Performing Arts from Central Government University, Hyderabad, India (HCU), and her Ph.D in Critical Dance Studies from University of California, Riverside (UCR). Kurien is the recipient of the Sarojini Naidu Scholarship of Merit (HCU) and the Chancellor’s Award, UCR. Currently, she is the artistic director of Pragathi Arts Foundation, an organization she formed to foster learning, practice, and inquiry in Indian dance, specifically Bharatanatyam. Her vision for her students is that they will be able to push beyond boundaries of cultural expression, and open spaces to explore their personal voices.
