About Growing Great Learners

Melissa Christensen and Kelli Snoozy established Growing Great Learners in September 2011. We started with the goal of finding a creative way to teach kids, but we have come a long way. Our center is proud to be trusted by parents for their children's early education. Our center first opened in Northeast Portland as an in-home day care. The two best friends have had countless years of experience when it comes to working with today s youth. They know what children need, which is why it has always been their goal to have a fusion of in-home and center-based styles of care. Melissa and Kelli know the limits of services and activities they can offer as in home child care providers. That is why in November 2014, they expanded to our current location; a much larger facility in Southeast Portland. This expansion into center-based care has given us the ability to offer children a better day
