Hi and welcome to Bright Star Childcare and Preschool! My name is Purba Zaman and I have been providing in-home childcare for about 12 years. I have multiple credentials, a license in childcare providing, and I am CPR certified. I welcome children from ages 3 months to 8 years of age. My philosophy includes active learning, which allows children to learn through active interaction with a responsive environment around them. The crucial components of active learning at Bright Star Childcare and Preschool include direct action on objects, reflection on actions, intrinsic motivation, and problem solving. We support play as an aspect of learning for young children. I live in the Fremont, Warm Springs Area near James Leitch Elementary School.
