Freeport Montessori School, serving children 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Freeport Montessori School is a community of educators and families. The school uses the prepared Montessori environment to teach children how to learn by using materials guided by their own curiosity and development. The Montessori classroom is a respectful, cooperative place where children s activities promote independence, cognitive preparation, physical coordination, social competence, emotional growth, and spiritual nourishment.
