Discovery Christian School is a ministry of Christ s Church in Effingham, IL. Kindergarten through 8th Grades will be opening for the 2021-2022 school year. We are excited with this expansion of Discovery Garden Preschool, which has been in operation since 2014. DCS Preschool is concerned with the total development of children and the program is designed to help students grow academically, spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Biblical values and principles are emphasized and taught in conjunction with developmentally appropriate academic, social, and physical skills. As an inter-denominational school, we welcome all faiths. It is our desire that children learn to see the world with a Biblical worldview. We all have a worldview built on experiences and beliefs; however, a Biblical worldview starts with God s Word as the basis for everything.
