About SoulShine Preschool and After School

SoulShine was launched as a modest after school program in 2006 by founder Shannon Smith and a small group of parents seeking a unique, heart-forward, eco-aware approach to learning and development for their children. Today SoulShine has grown into an expansive educational organization, with two locations offering infant, preschool, pre - k, and school-aged education and care. Camp Activities include: Personal attention and experiences. Activities led by experts in permaculture, homesteading and environmental awareness. Visits to our city's up-and-coming gardens, farms, nature centers and farm-to-table restaurants. Field trips, speaker fees & healthy snacks.
