About Curious Explorers Academy
Curious Explorers Academy is a fully licensed play-based childcare facility located on the Richmond/El Cerrito border. We are now enrolling for Summer and the 2018/19 school year. Our site offers child care for children 3 to 5 years of age. Curriculum includes activities like yoga, meditation, music, logic/STEM games, gardening and more! Organic snacks are provided daily. Our director, Amrita, has over 6 years of experience in both preschool and elementary school. Amrita holds a B.A. in Child Development and M.A. in Education.

Preschool program (3 Years to 5 Years)Our play-based curriculum includes: yoga, meditation, Spanish, music, gardening, and STEM games. We teach children that learning is fun and through logic and STEM games, children learn how to learn and the joy that comes from learning.

Amrita has been working with children for the past 10 years. She started working in preschool and taught both 3 and 4 year olds for three years. She then taught elementary school for three years. This experience has shown her the educational goals children must meet in order to be successful and that the love of learning starts at an early age.
