Adults tend to need to know "WHY"... they need to know what children are doing and why. Heck, typically adults are in the driver seat and children rarely have opportunities to own their "why". The "why" has been perfectly planned out to meet an adult agenda. Whether it's the pressures of check lists to meet standards, or the "r word" (readiness), adults no longer believe in CHILDHOOD. We have lost faith in how perfectly children are created. We no longer trust that they are born to develop what they need when they need it, in their OWN TIME. PERFECT for each unique child.
