Honey Bee Family Childcare, a Maryland licensed in-home childcare, has been providing excellent and affordable care to children and their families for over 10 years. Madelyn Carr, the provider, has an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree. Honey Bee Family Childcare is located in a single family home. Every day, we provide a healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. We help prepare children for kindergarten by promoting self-help (motor) skills, academic skills, and social skills. Children will learn early math, calendar terms, literacy (letters and sounds), science, music, and some Spanish vocabulary words. During the school year children learn from a preschool curriculum for early development. In addition, children are provided with time outside and nap time.
