Snapology teaches STEAM concepts to children through hands-on, interactive play, using LEGO® bricks and other fun tools. Our programs are designed to promote teamwork, inspire creativity, and gain confidence in STEAM (often robotics and engineering), while not even realizing it’s educational! Snapology of Fairlawn, Ohio! Snapology offers After-School Enrichment programs, Preschool Enrichment, Camps, Workshops, Scouting Events, In-school Field Trips, Special Needs programs, Senior programs, and Birthday parties. Deval Desai, owner of Snapology – Fairlawn. After years of crunching numbers, streamlining finances, and keeping startups afloat as a finance executive, I decided it was time for a new challenge—one that involved more LEGOs than ledgers. As a mom of three energetic kids (ages 8, 6, and 3), I’ve seen firsthand how building, creating, and learning through play can spark a child’s imagination and confidence. That’s what inspired me to pivot from finance to children’s enrichment.
Club SciKidz is the best place under the sun for extraordinary summers. Established in 1997, owners Bob and Sue Hagan have created one of America’s finest summer science and technology camps. Bob and Sue have a combined 30 plus years of teaching experience and both hold a Master’s Degree in Education. The first summer camp was called “Special Effects” which taught campers the science involved in Hollywood’s Special Effects techniques. As time progressed, additional age groups and science themes were added. Beginning in 2001, Camp Young Scientist was created to accommodate children in grades 1-2. Each year additional Science Camp themes were added and there are now 60, and counting, offering exciting projects and experiments for kids grades PK-8th! In 2015, we added Tech Scientific to our name to reflect our new emphasis on technology camps. So now we are Club SciKidz/Tech Scientific. Club SciKidz, was founded on the principle that parents want to provide their children with exciting, challenging, and life impacting academic enrichment experiences. Our company is committed to demonstrating how science works in the real world by providing activities in veterinary medicine, robotics, forensics, video game creation, food science, paleontology, engineering, chemistry and biology, astronomy, oceanography, emergency medicine, and special effects.
