Nrityarpana School of Performing Arts offers Indian classical performing arts, yoga, and more. NrityArpana trains students in the technique of Bharathnatyam towards rangapravesh/arangetram and the appreciation of the arts. Art is a powerful vehicle of change. This is more so for the visual performing arts. Founded in 2004, Nrityarpana School of Performing Arts, a non-profit organization was envisioned as a tool that offered training in the classical art form of dance and created a platform to present innovative, thought provoking powerful productions that both entertain and educate the participants and the audience. The Indian community is a fairly young immigrant community in the USA. With second generation Indian Americans at schools, colleges and the work force, the role of the artist is changing from a preserver to a builder of communities. Anupa Mirle is involved in this as a founder of her arts organization, NrityArpana School of Performing Arts, and as a co-founding member of the Indian Sister City of Mysore. This effort was started a few years ago and came to fruition during the summer of 2012 with a gala for the Indian Ambassordor to the United States, her Excellency Nirupama Rao. Anupama Rao Mirle, known as Anupa, is a member of the International Dance Council (a UNESCO organization). She was invited to the 2005 Ohio Dance Choreographers' Showcase. Hailed as a visionary choreographer, Anupa has a candid ability to blend different media and art forms into classical dance crating breakthrough idioms in choreography. Achieving Masters of Science and MBA training, her production themes reflect her comfort portraying difficult issues like nuclear armament, corporate ethics, racial issues, social issuers and cross cultural diversity.

MUCAI stands for Multi-Cultural Arts Integration. It is our belief that children do better, in both academic and extra-curricular activities, when they are exposed to and influenced by the arts. Dance allow students to discover themselves and the world around them, increase spatial awareness and remain physically active. This reduces stress and increasing self-efficacy. At MUCAI Academy, students cooperate in the learning process by inputting their own knowledge and ideas, whenever possible. As an integrated dance community, MUCAI Academy is committed to ensuring the many benefits of dance education and performance to all children, regardless of ethnic, cultural, physical, and learning, gender identity, religious, and socioeconomic differences. All children have a right to experience the many health, academic, social, and spiritual benefits of dance. MUCAI Academy is a non-profit, performing arts school designed to make dance accessible for students of all ages, abilities, creeds, ethnicities, and social economic backgrounds, regardless of ability to pay. For thirteen years, MUCAI Academy's unique performing arts program has been one of Central Ohio's best kept secrets.
