Our Montessori Children s House located in Chantilly, Virginia, cherishes each child for his or her uniqueness and provides personalized, loving care that extends to encourage the child s capacity to learn and grow. In our prepared classrooms, we accept children ages three months to six years. We are pleased to offer a year-round Montessori program, bringing excitement and quality to your child s education. East Gate Montessori School offers primary, toddler, and infant classrooms. A typical day in a montessori classroom involves practical life, sensorial activities, language arts, mathematics, music and art appreciation, and social studies/geography activities. The Infant Program is for children 3 months to 15 months. The young toddler program is for children 15 months to 3 years. The Primary classrooms are designed for children three through six years of age. EGMS opened in September 2013. Most of the staff has come to us from our awarding winning sister school in Reston, VA (Community Montessori School). EGMS is a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS). All of our lead teachers are trained and certified by the AMS. EGMS will continue to operate with low student: teacher ratios so all of our students may receive the attention and care they deserve!
