Even cats are vulnerable to the flu. A cat might not die, if performs antics like an acrobat! Felines are fragile in their way. I didn’t realize it, until I saw my neighbor’s Persian fur (purr) ball fell sick due to flu. What if my cat catches cold? Is cold a life-threatening disease for felines?

Symptoms of cold in cats

☻My cat sneezed for 7 days in a row.

☻I was heart-broken to find some greenish discharge from its eyes and nose.

☻My sweet, little fluffy jerk wasn’t interested in food anymore.

☻My happy fat cat wished to sleep all day (an unusual thing!).

☻My fluffy feline had high temperature and she was dehydrated!

☻If you find all these symptoms in your cat, and then don’t hesitate even a moment.

Rush to your vet, so that your sweet little feline will be cured from flu!

What if your cat catches cold?

Be gentle while doing this – Hold your cat gently and listen to its respiration. If it’s croaking, then massage its chest.

Your cat loves it at this point of time.

Wiping the discharge – Using warm water, dampen some cotton and clean the greenish discharge gently.

Last, but not the least, please don’t experiment with drugs on your cat!
