Every per owner faces a messy situation every now and then. Have you ever stepped into the car to find dog hairs on the seat? Did you cat litter stain the expensive carpet? Is your flooring all dirty? The good times with your pets and their love for you makes up for all the cleaning you do after them. This is how you make the cleaning simpler.

Handling Carpet Stains

Muddy or wet paws, an accidental bladder control scenario or your cat’s bold litter move – carpet stains are the worst! Most carpets blot and stain easily. They are also heavy to be moved, washed and dried. If you notice the stain when fresh, vacuum it quick to remove as much of it as possible before it stains more.

Follow this up with a 3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution right on the stain that is left and immediately put a towel over it. Heat up the towel using an iron and voila – The stain is magically transferred to the towel from the carpet! Keep repeating until the stain becomes less and less noticeable.

Pet Hair Cleaning

Just like we lose hair, our warm and fuzzy pets lose their lustrous hair too! These hairs in the car seat or your sofa is definitely a sore sight. The solution – wipe it with a damp rubber glove. Hair sticks onto the glove as if it was a hair magnet! Pet hair is no longer a nuisance to clean!

In your house, the pet hair along with dust becomes balls of fuzz which cannot be vacuumed. This problem further intensifies in the winter when the air is damp. The fix to this is a simple spray available in pet stores which de-fuzzes these balls. It is a static removal product which allows you to vacuum the hair and dust without any issues.

Magic Eraser!

The magic ingredient for removing pee stains off clothes and linens is Apple Cider Vinegar! Adding a ¼ cup of this magic eraser along with your regular detergent not only removes the stain but also negates any smell of the pee. The icing on the cake is not the stain removal but the smell of the vinegar makes sure that your pet does not pee on your favorite sheets once again!

Now, if only there was a spray which can deter your pet from peeing on anything inside the house…
