If you nanny does these, your kid is at risk!
We know the struggle parents undergo once their baby/kid starts growing, the care and attention required for them is not lesser than 24/7, as the handy and famous option comes off as nanny and babysitters. It is the easy way out for most of us, but do the nannies and baby sitters care like another parent? And do the things as they have promised is a big question! Unnecessary suspicion is not required still if these things happen, you should leave them high and dry!
Behavior:
You are the parent, you know your kid more than anyone does, so if you suspect some unusual behavior persisting in your kid and you feel quite odd about it and your kid doesn’t look happy nor okay after the nannies work, then it’s time to have a discussion with your nanny about her day and what was happening with the kid, the whole day.
Ideologies:
The process of selecting your nanny is a tedious ho-hum work but it matters the most when it comes to your kid, so after a few days’ work of your nanny and you find her not following your ideas and the ideologies are of to be in two different pages and it does not work between you two as a team, that’s when you got to look for a different person.
Commitment:
If you find your nanny or babysitter not arriving at the right time or finding excuses to take a day off without prior notice and you find the person’s reasons unrealistic and illogical. They are not the right caretakers for your kidand it’s time to take a switch.
Nutrition:
Having a constant check on the food and nutrition you kid is consuming in a day should be your essential thought, if your kid looks weary or drowsy all the time, have a check on your nanny whether they feed your kids properly.
If the gut feeling is stumbling and you feel not quite right, have a check on the above things and go ahead have a discussion and make a clear statement on the issues and ask them to leave. Because you’re kid matters and the period they grow matters, look for experienced nannies and babysitters from service providers, where you can check their previous works and choose the suitable caring nannies.
