Ideas to make Valentine's Day special for your pregnant wife

Pregnancy is a time in a woman’s life when her body undergoes various changes like her suffering from aches, pains and mood swings; so Valentine’s Day is the best time to pamper your pregnant wife. By choosing the right gift, both material and non-material you can make her pregnancy a little easier and show her how much you care for her.
A few ideas to make Valentine's Day special for your pregnant wife:
Get her stylish maternity clothes: Get your pregnant wife some smart, stylish and comfortable maternity clothes especially if she has moved into the second or third trimester of her pregnancy. You could also personalize it with a cute message. In case you have no clue, get her a gift certificate to her favorite fashionable maternity store.
Book for a prenatal massage: A prenatal massage by an experienced and qualified prenatal therapist can do wonders to relieve your pregnant wife from aches, pains, cramps, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve the outcome of labor. A Swedish massage through the application of mild pressure would relax stiff muscles and improve circulation. You can also pamper your wife with an appointment in her favorite beauty parlor for spa, manicure and pedicure.
Help prepare the home for the newborn: Your pregnant wife would greatly appreciate your being a part of the preparations to welcome the newborn; pregnant women like to feel her baby before birth and preparing home for baby makes her happy.
Give her undivided attention: Give your pregnant wife this day undivided time and attention; devote the full day to help out with chores, childcare and other responsibilities.
Surprise her with her favorite homemade food: The food should be preferably made by you especially keeping in mind her food cravings. Arrange a candle light dinner at home minus the alcohol as it is not so good of her at this time. Your undivided attention during the meal would be an attractive top-up.
Give her a jewelry she would appreciate: It could be anything; a pendent, neck lace or a bracelet that she would like. You could also personalize it with the birthstone of your unborn baby. Giving a deep neck pendant would keep your baby’s wandering hands occupied while nursing; even otherwise it would be a great pendant to wear.
Gift her dark chocolate: Select dark chocolate for her that is good for her if she is suffering from high blood pressure as it contains antioxidants and beneficial compounds that have been proven to lower blood pressure; also dark chocolate regulates blood sugar and won't increase the risk of gestational diabetes.
Gift her a big hand bag or a baby bag: On birth of the baby your wife would definitely need a bigger handbag or a baby bag; take the advice of the lady at handbag store to select a handbag for your wife.
These are some of my favorite ideas of gifts to a pregnant wife. I welcome you to give me some more of your favorite ideas.
