Adoption – Little Souls Find Their Way to YOU!

It’s a topic I generally avoid; sometimes it causes happiness, but most times hard feelings.   Adoption is no easy a joke, a strong decision that both parents take, an emotional commitment especially when parents already have a son/daughter and ofcourse society to beacon with.   

We hear women ask a lot of questions when considering adoption.

• How can I adopt a daughter?


• Who can help me with adoption


• Is the process cumbersome?


• Where can I get more information about adoption


• What are the legal formalities?


• How will I feel after adoption?


• Will my son/daughter accept it? Etc.,

A woman should be mentally prepared when she decides an adoption.  We have a lot of organizations who help in this process….

Orphan Advocates (www.oaint.org) Orphan Advocates International is a volunteer based non-profit organization created to assist children living in orphanages through humanitarian aid, medical treatment, education, and post orphanage support.

Snehalaya  (www.snehalaya.org) Home, Family and Future for every child is the motto of this organization - "Every child must have a family and an opportunity to find it's potential. Every mother who is unable to bring up the child should be rehabilitated into the society with dignity”.

National Adoption Center (www.adopt.org) - We are here to bring attention to the need for adoptive homes for children living in foster care. We help agencies recruit on behalf of their waiting children. We seek to match prospective adoptive families with appropriate adoption agencies.

So, what inspired me write this article?  I was watching the recent “Nestle Advertisement” ,  a very touching add, in just 2 to 3 minutes they teach us the joy of sharing.  Beautiful!  Just loved the kids, they bring out the emotions of a family.  “Adoption is a redemptive response to tragedy that happens in this broken world”
