A Tribute To Pregnancy And Motherhood
On the occasion of International Mother’s Day 2014, I am reminded of a beautiful article about motherhood that I read; a true tribute to a pregnant woman who is soon to become a mother. I thought I would share this article that brings about the true vibrations of a mother with my friends of Indiapulse.
The conversation of a child to be born with God, the creator:
The baby asked God, “I am so small and helpless and they tell me that I am going to be send me to Earth tomorrow?”
God replied, “There is an angel waiting to care for you there.”
How very true mothers love and nurture us and remove our helplessness on being born.
The child further asked, “My life here in Heaven is so free and all I do is sing, smile and be very happy.”
God replied, “Your angel will sing for you and smile at you; she will make sure you feel loved and happy.”
It is true mothers teach babies to smile, rejoice and feel happy; they consider their child as their first priority and share in our laughter, love and happiness.
The child now asked, “How do I understand the language they speak on Earth?”
God replied, “Your angel will speak to you the most beautiful and sweet words; she will be very patient to teach you how to speak and understand others.”
How very true it is that mother is the angel that teaches newborns how to speak and understand the language spoken. Again it is the mother that teaches children the language of love, care and nurture.
The child was concerned and asked God, “How am I going to talk with you?”
God hugged the baby and said, “Your angel will teach you how to place your hands together and pray to me.”
How very true it is the angel called mother teaches the child all about the presence of God and the importance of praying to him.
The child asked, “I am so small and helpless; who will protect me from dangers?”
God replied, “You angel will always protect you, even at the risk of her own life.”
What an appropriate reply God gave, for our mothers have always been selfless and have protected us in all circumstances.
The child said, “I will be very sad as I cannot see you anymore.”
God said, “I am always next to you; your angel will always talk about me and teach you how to come back to me.”
How very true, mothers teach children about God, the right and the wrong.
As God sent the child to Earth there were many noises and sounds; the child asked God, “What is the angel’s name?”
God said with joy in his eyes, “You can simply call her MUM.”
How very true the angel in all our lives is the MOTHER.
Happy Mother’s Day 2014!
