Sunrise Montessori is an independent school in which each child is valued as unique and as an active agent in his/her educational process. A fundamental premise within the Montessori philosophy of education is that all children carry within themselves the person they will become. In order to develop their physical, intellectual, and spiritual potential to the fullest, the child must have freedom: a freedom to be achieved through order and self-discipline. Sunrise International Montessori School, with two locations in Burnsville and Minnetonka. We offer two programs, the Toddler Program for ages 16mos - 3yrs and Montessori Primary for ages 3 - 6.
