About Buckle My Shoe

Buckle My Shoe is about celebrating the whole child. The voice of the child is visible on our walls, in our conversations between teacher and families, and is a vital tool for reflecting and carrying the continuum of learning. Parents, teachers, and students are partners in learning by openly sharing and exchanging ideas. Through experimentation and active discovery our classrooms transform throughout the year, our projects revolve around student's interests, and our relationship with one another strengthens as we grow. Every child brings with them deep curiosity and potential and this innate curiosity drives their interest to understand their world and their place within it. The 'Reggio' version of the child as competent learner has produced a strong child-directed curriculum model.

Rated 5.0 Buckle My Shoe is my home away from home. The environment speaks volumes about the love, care, and attention the staff at BMS puts into teaching children. We work so hard to give children meaningful experiences that will enrich and support their learning and development.
