Alonzo A. Daughtry Memorial Day Care Center was founded in 1970 by the House of the Lord Church in response to requests from community residents stating. We offer Pre-School Program, UPK Program and Aftercare Program. Two of our full-day pre-school classrooms provide an easy flow of activity for the Preschool children. Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) students learn through a variety of stimulating, hands-on experiences, all designed to advance their development and prepare them for kindergarten. We offer an aftercare curriculum that aligns with the school day and supports growth in literacy, math, and science while infusing the arts, physical activity, and fun. Our curriculum appeals to kids and teaches confidence, encourages self-expression, and enriches social development.
