Blooming Stars Education Center is a Mandarin and English bilingual educational childcare center guided by the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. Our center’s mission is to offer a safe, warm, and supportive learning environment for children from the age of three months to kindergarten entry.To enable each infant, toddler, and preschooler to realize their richest potential for learning, teachers guide children's learning to achieve our mission through the following. Through a stimulating and nurturing environment with a balance of social, emotional, and intellectual support teachers will encourage the self-motivation and self-discipline that will lead to a life-long pursuit of knowledge. With parents, we will work together to create a warm, loving, and challenging environment for each child.Through observation, there will be a focus on each child's development of cognitive skills, self-esteem, independence, and personal responsibility.Children learn and develop skills through play. Play is a child's work. Our teachers carefully observe children's play and assist them in making discoveries and acquiring skills.Children gradually develop self-discipline through freedom of movement and freedom of choice. The Montessori materials give them a sense of satisfaction, which encourages them to concentrate and complete activities.
