About St. Stephen's Preschool

Saint Stephen s Preschool is a ministry of Saint Stephen s Episcopal Church in Birmingham, Alabama. We are a half day preschool for ages 6 months to 5 years old. Our regular hours are 9:00am 1:00pm and we have extended hours in the mornings (8:00am - 9:00am) for all ages and in the afternoons (1:00pm 2:30pm) for children who are in the 2 s classes and older. Your child will participate in a variety of activities suitable to his or her age, such as:Exploring his/her environment; interacting with teachers and other children; learning to respond, sing, and listen to different kinds of music; enjoying stories, poetry, dramatizations, puppetry, and books; using play equipment to aid in physical development; and working with manipulative materials, such as paints, clay, crayons, scissors, paste, puzzles, and other craft items.
