About Starbright Preschool

Star bright is a Waldorf and Lifeway’s inspired preschool with an emphasis on the arts and science through nature exploration. It is a small school with a capacity for 34 children, ages 2 years to 5 1/2 years. The curriculum emphasizes whole child development. Starbright has created an environment in which children can keep intact the “magic” and “dreaminess” of childhood. The atmosphere is intimate, home-like and harmonious. The classroom is set up to encourage imaginative play and the creative process. The materials available have been chosen to allow small and large motor skills to develop in an organic, holistic way. The activities focus on artistic expression, the flowering of the imagination and on social skills and interactions which encourage cooperation and non-aggression.
