About Tender Roots

Tender Roots is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach. Tender Roots is based on the philosophy that, even at a very young age, children are curious learners who want to find out about the world. We are dedicated to providing children with the opportunity to learn and grow in a warm and nurturing environment. Tender Roots is located in the Lyon Village neighborhood of North Arlington, Virginia. In 2006 we opened our doors to a packed open house. It was clear the neighborhood needed a community school. We continue to offer the best possible program for one and two-year-old children, so that parents and their children both enjoy the experience of early education. Tender Roots is a unique program for one and two year old children. A parent or caregiver must accompany your child at all times. The Director and teachers guide the day, supporting children and parents/caregivers.
