We’re a friendly, and busy family in Arlington, Virginia, looking for a caring, dependable, warm, and responsible, professional Key Responsibilities * Primary care for our 9-month-old: feeding, diapering, naps, developmental play, and daily routines * Engaging the baby in age-appropriate learning and enrichment activities * Meal preparation and light cooking (simple, healthy, home-style meals; South Asian cuisine preferred) * Child-related organization: maintaining the nursery, baby laundry, cleaning bottles, organizing toys, books, and the baby’s room * Running small errands and providing occasional household support * Light housekeeping only—we use a weekly professional cleaning service Ideal Candidate * Has prior experience as a nanny, caregiver, or family helper (housekeeping experience is a plus) * Loves caring for babies and understands infant safety and development * Is CPR/first aid certified or willing to get certified * Speaks Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Nepali, Pashto, or another South Asian language (in addition to English) * Comfortable with basic cooking and helping maintain a smooth household routine Why Work With Us? * Flexible weekday schedule: Monday–Friday, 20–40 hours/week (daytime), with paid overtime (1.5x) for extra hours * Growth opportunities: Raises and added responsibilities based on performance * Supportive, respectful, and family-oriented environment that values long-term relationships
