Fontanelle Academy of Early Learning was founded by Dr. Cynthia Cole. As a young mother, Dr. Cole was a university professor of teacher education with a non-traditional work schedule. Her work day was not 9 to 5; and during summers, she was a stay-at-home mom. As a career-minded, working mother she needed child care services, but wanted to spend as much time as possible with her daughter. As a teacher of teachers, she understood the importance of a quality education and the need for children to socialize with one another; yet struggled to find child care centers that offered both quality and flexibility. It is her experience as both a career/stay-at-home mom and educator that has resulted in the program services of Fontanelle Academy.
